Introducing coding to kids: Class 1-5
Coding is not just learning a programming language, it is the skill of problem-solving.
About this course
The objective of teaching to code is not just to create software engineers, research proves that coding improves critical thinking, logic, and creativity among students of any age, helping them excel in problem solving in almost any area. This course introduces students to the concepts of coding in the most fun and easy way.
What students will learn

Basic programming concepts
In this module, students will learn to write instructions for computers in a programming language with the help of algorithms, sequencing, repetition, variables, selection, and event handling.

Story telling & animation
In this module, students will use their creativity to present a story. Bringing objects to life through animation will help students understand the underlying concepts behind complex animations.

Game development
Students always have fun playing video games, but it will be even more fun for them when they will be able to code their own games. It will introduce the students to higher coding concepts.

Art & Drawing
In this module, students will create interactive and artistic projects through coding. Drawing shapes and objects using code will put student's mathematical concepts and creativity to test.

Application development
Computers are filled with applications and students use them on daily basis for multiple purposes. Imagine when they will be creating their own computer applications to perform any particular task.
Examples of student projects

Interactive dance party animation

Spiraling pattern drawing

How it works
Teacher training
For every course, 1 month training will be conducted for the assigned school teachers before the program begins. No prior knowledge of the subject is required.
Study material
Specially curated study material for the course such as books/worksheets/cards/kits will be distributed to the students to help them in learning.
Classes begin
The trained school teacher will conduct classes for the program based on the set curriculum. All the resources including lesson plans/ppt/videos will be provided by us.
Final showdown time
By the end of the program, students will prepare a final project. Schools can conduct a final showcase event where students will present the game/app/animation they have created in front of the parents, teachers and other students. Best projects can also feature on school’s website as well as our website.
